HAND ART

We talked of India, the ancient art of mehndi, and henna
And the children decided to do their own hand art.

They traced their own hands and set to work creating their own unique designs with colored pencils.

Each design is unique, like each of the children.
                      happy day!

  2. The children and I have hennaed our hands before, though with little success. What a clever alternative this is! Not nearly as messy :-)

  3. I have had henna done before and I plan to get my pregnant belly done in the next couple months.

I love the idea of letting the kids do they own mendhi. I want to try this with my son.

    Thank you!

  5. My almost 13 year old does henna on her hand and arm. She keeps reminding me we need to get more!

It's cool to do a design on paper first, then on oneself.

Ahh watercolor markers for little ones..great idea!

    happy day!
