She's reading Battle of the Labyrinth, the fourth book in the Percy Jackson series.
Reading has always been a struggle but is finally clicking. A mom just has to have patience... and trust that her child will develop when she is ready and not worry about what other children are doing . Each child is unique :)

A love of books. You can't beat it. One of the best gifts I think I've passed on to my children.
We all post pictures of our kids on these Friday moments, it's nice to see the mom enjoying a moment with a book :)
