DISCOVERING SPRING in Haiku

melted winter snow
discovering nature's gifts
boundless energy

pine tree uprooted
imagination flowing
a faeries abode?

green grass, squishy earth
exploring, senses heightened
 Look! fallen birds nest

icy covering
luminous crystal mirror
numbing tingling cold

meadow slumbering
wild rabbits frolic concealed
a hawk soars above

exhilarating
unhurried time, connection
abundant nature

What discoveries have you made today?

                       happy day!

Oh the joy of finding the spectacular in nature. I too always loved to discover ice chunks on top of the stream that was behind my childhood home. Something amazing and magical about it.

Isn't nature inspiring??? I love these photos and your haiku are wonderful.

The one starting "green grass..." just might be my favorite.

(Thank you for visiting my blog.)
