There is something said for living without school, like writing your character sketches for your book on the front lawn in the middle of the day.
The feel of the soft grass and the warm, open air makes it more inviting to concentrate..
In her own time and in her own way.
And when the mood strikes, taking a walk down by the pond
Slinging the camera strap around her neck, she heads off to explore, discover and observe.
In her own time and in her own way.
What a surprise! The Mallard drake was back !
She was able to observe him for quite a long time before he discovered her.
He swam under the bridge
He even jumped upon it, (don't you just love the orange legs and feet?) and just stood and looked around the pond. . . .
until she was discovered . . and then he took flight.
Nature is full to the brim with magical moments to treasure forever.
She took all the photos. (except the one of her on the lawn)
It's Life . . .in her time and in her own way.
This is DAY 8 in The Great Outdoor Challenge.
Please VISIT the others who play the challenge !

I can just smell the freshenss of the grass and feel the warmth of the sun on my back!
What better place to " create " than out in the open? I know another young lady who can be found doing the same thing from time to time and an OLDER ONE TOO! :)
Aren't we lucky to be able to foster this type of learning and to " keep watch " ?
Lovely,
Deb~
