THROUGH THE WINDOW

Sitting quietly as the sun pours in 

warming my body 

and my mind.

Watching grasses bend in the breeze

as visitors arrive  

partaking of seed,

or yarrow and coneflower remains.

Nature in plain view

within my grasp

touches my heart 

and soothes my soul.

I'm playing Tuesday Through. . .The Window hosted by Swedish House . This Tuesday's view is looking out our great room window. A great place to sit on the windowseat, relax, and watch the visitors come to the feeders, and just appreciate being alive.
